"La Nueva Sedería S. de L. R." was formed in México City in 1960, at that time we had a team of only 10 employees and our headquarters were place in Uruguay Street in Mexico City downtown, however our great development and the recognition among our clients, took "La Nueva Sedería S. de L. R." at the end of the decade to transform us into a group of companies and to diversified our activities. "Sedería la Nueva", "Menudeo de Sederías" y "Lentejuela" are the companies which since then have been working on the sales, exports and manufacture of notions, fringe, home decor, embroidery and knitting articles among others supplies.

With the course of the time and thanks to the effort and help of employees and colleges Grupo Selanusa has consolidated itself as a national and international notions supplier.

Currently, Sedería la Nueva is a corporation with more than 500 employees and with the required and needed infrastructure to attend the necessities of the national and international market.
